Birthday Boy 1 year old
This post is a bit out of order because sometimes that is just how my life rolls!

Parker had a very big birthday he turned 1 year old on March 4th. In the last few months he has made some big changes. By his first birthday he's walking (running really--He took his first steps at about 10 months). He has 6 teeth, he giggles every time you squeeze his knees, he weighs 16 lbs and measures 26.5 inches.
He's incredibly active and tries to keep up with his brother. His favorite foods are sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, grapes and crackers.

We had a fun little birthday for him. Our friends Padu and Priya with their daughter Sheewane came over for dinner and cake. I made a little square cake that looked like a letter block. We gave him the cake and he didn't want anything to do with it. He just looked at us funny and tasted a little bit of frosting then called it a day. He liked the ice cream to go with it. That's my boy! He got a cute little play cake as a gift from the friends and some cards and money from the grand parents and great grandparents, and some new sand toys for the park. The cake sings and counts and lights up, so Parker loves it! We tested the sand toys out at the new park near our home and they were a hit. We spent a few hours at the park for the birthday boy and played with bubbles and ran all over the place. The day turned out to be beautiful so we played and played.
