Sunny Days

Fremont is beautiful this time of year. Who would know that it's January and we are enjoying 70 degrees almost every day. I will take it while we can get it!
Darryl is doing great at work. He's still working on projects from his office in San Francisco. He commutes on BART and has a relaxed schedule so things work out pretty well getting stuff done.
Tanner has had some fun times this week. His best friend right now is Calvin Greenwood. Calvin will usually come to our house once a week then Tanner goes to his house on another day. This week Calvin was here for the evening and both boys wanted to play super hero. They ran around and played so hard they were both out cold by 8:30 pm.
On Saturday we went as a family to Tilden Park in Berkeley. It's a gorgeous area in the Berkeley hills. We rode the little steam engine train. Tanner got an engineer's hat to commemorate the day. We also took a walk around Lake Anza in the middle of the park. Tanner hiked the entire way with several detours up the side trails. He was so funny when he found a couple in a clearing nearby. He walked right up to them with one of the sticks he found and said, "Hi friends!" then gave them his stick and left. He didn't even listen to what they were asking him. He just wanted to drop off his stick. We had a fun pic nic and threw rocks in the lake then headed home.
Tanner also had his 3 year check up this week. His latest statistics are as follows: 25 lbs 7 oz weight, 35.5 inches tall, and beyond the mark with motor function and mobility. He's a little bit of a munchkin for his age but his appetite is improving so we think a growth spurt is headed our way. He's generally happy and healthy so we have no complaints.
We hope you are all doing well. Feel free to come enjoy our weather with us!
