Happy Birthday Tanner

We celebrated Tanner's 5th Birthday with the cousins and some friends nearby. It was small and simple, because we want to make 5 1/2 a big fun party in the summer. Tanner shares his half birthday with his grandpa Seely and Darryl's birthday is shortly there after, so we can have a party week with warm weather fun.
The kids were so fun. They helped to make the cupcakes for the party and chose to have green frosting. They mixed and decorated the tops with more sprinkles than frosting. Tanner liked opening presents from the kids. His favorite thing recently has been dollar bills, so when he opened cards from the grandparents with money inside he was elated. The other favorite gift was a silly giraffe limbo game. It plays music and the kids spin the dial to figure out which way they will limbo under the bar. Sometimes they would bend over backwards and other times walk like a crab or bend forward. No matter direction the dial said, the kids would come up with some way to go under the bar. They all laughed and had a good time.
The boys absolutely loved having their cousins around for fun and excitement. They wish we lived closer and we wish it didn't snow in Utah.
Tanner had a great day and we enjoyed all of the birthday wishes.
